Front Office
When the phone rings, you’re likely to get Sandy Dawson, our Office Manager, on the line. She’s been running things around here for over three years – she’ll make sure to find out what you need and get it done! Sandy’s not the only one working hard to ensure operations run smoothly here at Accent.
Owner Tom Scribbins has been in the roofing business for over 40 years, and his son, General Manager Phillip Scribbins, has been instrumental in Accent’s growth over the past decade. And Kathy Scribbins? She’s so much more than Phillip’s mom and Tom’s wife…she’s Accent’s Assistant Marketing Director! In addition to making the phone ring, Kathy also ensures suppliers and employees are paid in full, as well as handling any customer feedback. Assistant General Manager Michael Spence’s duties run the gamut from estimating to supervision to inventory management, and of course, quality management, but it’s his outstanding customer service skills that really set him apart.
Alongside the office team works Andrew Salerno, our resident IT specialist with additional capabilities in marketing, customer service, and even fieldwork! Our accounting department is helmed by Finance Manager Gary Patsy, a UGA grad with a remarkable talent for all things numbers. And in logistics, Field Manager Marcus Rivers keeps things running smoothly, from scheduling to deliveries and everything in between.
In the Field
Accent has a team of qualified professionals at your service in the field. Jose Ramirez is our Job Foreman/Supervisor, but he’s really a walking encyclopedia of roofing knowledge, as well as a skilled craftsman in his own right.
On your roof you’re likely to find Jason Thomas, one of the hardest workers we’ve ever met. Jason primarily handles warranty work and inspections, but he’s always got a busy day in front of him. Deliberate and methodical Steve Dean is Jason’s counterpoint in roof repairs. Repairing a roof actually requires a great deal of skill, but Steve’s experience and dedication helps make it look easy.
Les Honsen, our Quality Assurance Manager, is the definition of the term “craftsman.” With experience in high-end renovations, Les applies his attention to detail on everything from soffits to fascia to molding. Bobby Wiggins is another jack-of-all-trades, supporting jobsite supervisors and serving as our primary repair estimator to boot.
